L.L.Bean Fourth of July 10K or 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk
July 4th starting at 7:25 am
Memorial Park in Freeport
Details: Memorial Park, corner of Bow & Park Streets, Freeport, ME. Registration will be closing at 12 noon on Friday, June 28th or once 1,500 runners have registered, whichever comes first. The 1-Mile Family Fun Run/Walk is a great opportunity for kids of all ages to begin developing healthy habits that will help them throughout their lives. Each youth participant will receive a medal and a commemorative race t-shirt.

4th of July Parade
July 4th at 10 am
Main Street in Freeport
Details: Start the Fourth with a bang! The classic American parade on Freeport’s Main Street starts at 10 a.m.

Turner's 4th of July Festival on the Green
July 4th at 10 am
Main Street in Turner
Details: Community parade starts at 10 a.m. on Cobb Road and proceeds down Main Street (Route 117) to Leavitt Area High School. Immediately after the parade, The World’s Best Strawberry Shortcake will be served on the Green. There will also be games and bounce houses available. And at 11am a Pinata on the Green. Also don’t forget from 8:30 until 1pm the Library's annual book sale will take place at the Leavitt Institute Building

Fourth of July Hilltop Celebration at Vista of Maine
July 4th starting at 3pm
Vista of Maine Tasting Room, Greene
Details: The tasting room opens at 3pm and Sedgley Place Restaurant will be on site serving Maine lobster rolls, pulled pork tacos and more. Food ready at 5pm. There will be food options for dietary restricted folks, as well as kids. There will be music, a photo booth, and lawn games. Then stick around to watch the fireworks at 9pm.

War and Treaty followed by Fourth of July Fireworks
July 4th starting at 7:30
Main St in Freeport
Details: Starting at 7:30 pm there will be a free outdoor concert featuring The War And Treaty, followed by fireworks at approximately 9 p.m.
