Home for the Holidays

Made Better with Hood Eggnog

By Kayt Myers December 7, 2020

I have never been one to get into the holiday season early. I only play Christmas music post-Thanksgiving (and usually by December 25 I am so over it). I never decorate before December 1. I take down the Christmas tree on December 26—like clockwork. This year is different for me. I’m not sure if it’s the talk of potential stay-at-home orders, rising COVID cases, or just the mood of the world in general but I am more anxious for the holiday season than ever before. I’m looking forward to holiday lights, baking cookies, decorating the house for Christmas, and turning up the volume on my holiday playlist. I’m ready for family time and cozying up at home.

Hood Eggnog is making that easier than ever this year. Hood Eggnog is helping to sponsor WBUR’s 16th annual reading of “A Christmas Carol” which is a virtual event this year. The reading, which will benefit Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women, will take place on Friday, December 18th and will be broadcast over Facebook Live and on YouTube, allowing for an unlimited number of participants. Our family will be tuning in, cups of Hood Eggnog in hand.

Hood Eggnog has been part of our family traditions for many years. The extra creamy milk and spices in Hood Golden Eggnog makes it a family favorite—from serving as my coffee creamer in the morning to a splash added to hot cocoa when we come in from the cold to the many favorite holiday recipes incorporating Hood Eggnog

It’s time to break out the holiday decorations, pour cups of Hood Golden Eggnog, and purchase our tickets for the reading of A Christmas Carol.

We hope your family will join us in creating new holiday traditions at home with Hood Golden Eggnog.
