It's Eggnog Season

Hood Eggnog brings safe, family traditions to all with Boston Ballet's The Nutcracker

By Kayt Myers November 10, 2020

It’s Eggnog season y’all! I could not be more excited. When I see Hood Eggnog hit the refrigerated section of the grocery store—I know all things heart-warming are to come: Family traditions, cozy nights in pajamas by the fire, softly drifting snow, and a mug of Hood Golden Eggnog in hand.

This year, Hood is helping us bring home holiday traditions in a safe, meaningful way. They are helping to sponsor Boston Ballet’s "The Nutcracker: At Home for the Holidays."

Boston Ballet will not be able to perform for their typical 100,000 audience members live this holiday season. (Thanks, 2020.) But they have pivoted to offer "The Nutcracker" to an even bigger audience through a partnership with NBC/Universal on their three area stations: NBC, Telemundo, and NECN, as well as Comcast On-Demand. Now every family will be able to watch "The Nutcracker"—for free. We love Boston Ballet’s commitment to inclusion and access!

Hood loves that too. That’s why they partnered with Boston Ballet to help bring "The Nutcracker" to everyone this holiday season. You can tune in:

  • 11/28 at 7 pm for the premiere on NBC Boston
  • 11/29 at 7 pm on NECN
  • 12/5 at 11 am on Telemundo

These viewings are such a great way to kick off the holiday season. Just like Hood Eggnog!

Our family cannot wait to make our favorite Hood Eggnog Pancakes, set ourselves up in front of the fire and television, and watch "The Nutcracker"—safe and warm at home. And since Hood Eggnog is only available for a limited time, you’ll want to pick yours up soon.

You can thank me later for this delicious Hood Eggnog Pancake Recipe! We love our pancakes using Hood Golden Eggnog or for a punch of fall, Hood Pumpkin Eggnog. Be sure to serve these delicious pancakes up with a mug of Hood Golden Eggnog. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season.
