Our friends at Girl Scouts of Maine have a ton of FREE activities through their Girl Scouts at Home programming that is definitely worth checking out!
Girl Scouts at Home provides engaging, family friendly activities that girls can complete safely at home or outside while social distancing with either no supplies or simple items that you might already have around the house. And you don’t have to be a Girl Scout for most of the activities—but you might have so much fun you will want to join!
There’s no need to have experience with the types of activities your girl chooses—at Girl Scouts, both girls and adults learn by trying new things, discovering new skills and interests along the way. Start by checking out one of their videos series: Using Resources Wisely, Make the World a Better Place, or Green ME Up! Sustainability Activities. Girls in grades K-3 can also experience what it is like to be a Girl Scout with their new 4 week Daisy and Brownie Sampler Series starting October 6th at 4:30PM.
Explore the four pillars of Girl Scouts: Outdoors, STEM, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship through this 4 week Daisy and Brownie Sampler Series where girls will earn their first Girl Scout patch!
In this virtual troop sampler girls will blow up a balloon without their breath, learn to care of the outdoors, move with dance and yoga, and use their creativity while learning leadership skills! Register at girlscoutsamplerseries.eventbrite.com
