Happy New Year!
It’s very hard for me to believe that the year 2020 has arrived—and with it, a new decade. In 2010, I began publishing Macaroni Kid Androscoggin. It doesn’t seem possible that ten years have passed seemingly so quickly.
Odder still is to think of what life was like ten years ago. My kids were 8, 6, and 4. Now they are 18, 16, and 14. When I think of what the next decade could bring, there may be my kids’ marriages and even—gasp—grandkids.
While it is fun to think of what life could look like in another ten years, it is also a bit of a wake-up call that time does pass quickly. I plan to make the most out of the moments I have with my family while my kids are all still under the same roof.
It has been one of my greatest pleasures in life to bring a fun-filled family-oriented calendar to Androscoggin County these past ten years. Here’s to another ten years of finding family fun!
