Registration begins at 7AM. The opening ceremony is at 8AM. The 10K starts at 8:30AM, the 3K walk and 5K run at 8:45AM.
This is a family friendly event with activities for the kids. There will be face painting, bubbles, and physical challenges.  Of course, healthy snacks will also be available.
With the first year under its belt, St. Mary’s wanted to make a few changes (based on runner feedback) to enhance the experience for participants. Lockers will be available so runners/walkers can store their personal items. Athletic trainers from St. Mary’s Center for Orthopaedics (whose offices are right at the race site!) will be available to discuss strengthening and conditioning tips and ways to prevent injury!
Proceeds benefit the St. Marguerite d’Youville Fund for the Needy. This fund assists individuals in financial crisis pay for groceries, gas, rent, etc. Last year, the fund distributed more than $34,800 and helped 337 people.
