at Temple Shalom Preschool

By Sponsored by Temple Shalom Preschool April 16, 2015
Are you seeking fun and enriching summer activities for your young child? For over 50 years, Temple Shalom Preschool has prepared area children for successful futures: socially, emotionally and academically. Now the school offers its time-tested curriculum during a new summer program full of play, friendship and learning.

The summer program is divided into three two-week sessions:
  • June 22-25 and June 29-July 2
  • July 13-16 and July 20-23
  • August 3-6 and August 10-13
The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Each week will have a theme and every day will include art, music, group activities, outdoor play, story time and more.

Temple Shalom Preschool’s philosophy is that play and learning go hand-in-hand and that a fun environment is crucial to a child’s development. To this end, each day includes a well-rounded schedule of structured activities while also allowing for plenty of free-play time with peers.
The school is conveniently located at 74 Bradman Street (off of Center Street) in Auburn. The facility includes a large, air-conditioned classroom, a dedicated art room for messy projects, a well-equipped playground and a spacious hall for indoor large-motor activities.

Children ages 3-5 are welcome, including those entering first grade. Children must be three by January 1, 2015. A 20% discount is offered for siblings. Temple Shalom provides snacks; families are asked to pack a lunch. The deadline to register for any of the summer sessions is May 15, 2015.
